Index - The Latest

Index creation is enabled for Image Matching feature in Metus MAM. During real time capturing, Metus Ingest creates video indexes for each captured video. One hour of video index means approximately 1 MB data. Those index files are saved to database for video image matching. Metus MAM compares a picture file to all video frames within thousands hours of video and lists best matched results in seconds.

You can reach Index Settings tab by clicking Tools > Options > Index .

Enable index creation option is used to enable/disable this feature.

Save index files next to media files option saves index files next to capturing media file with the same name.

Save all indexes to a common folder option creates all indexes into the selected folder.
